    HII- Mission Driven Innovative Solutions Inc. (HII-MDIS) is currently seeking  a COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) / HUMINT ANALYST to support the United States Forces Korea (USFK), Assistant Chief of Staff, J2 (ACofS, J2) JIOC-K. Provide timely intelligence to Commander, USFK and Combined Forces Command, the combined battle staff, and war fighter component commanders.


    The JIOC-K's efforts focus on detecting enemy threats, managing intelligence, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) activities, analyzing enemy actions and information to determine enemy's probable courses of action.


    The overall analytic effort strengthens Defense Intelligence and provides relevant, timely, objective, and cogent all source Defense Intelligence to the Commander and other users, and transforming theater intelligence activities to better leverage the capabilities of the theater and global intelligence communities and safeguard United States personnel and interests within the Korea Theater of Operations (KTO).

HII MDIS has over 2100 employees worldwide who deliver critical services to our DoD, IC and Federal/Civilian customers across five service portfolios: IT and Software Applications; Modeling, Simulation and Training; Mission Engineering and Operations Support; Intelligence and Cyberspace Operations; and Logistics and Lifecycle Management.



    Tasks that the contractor shall perform include but are not limited to the following:

    • Identify and assess CI threats to fulfill critical intelligence requirements.
    • Research, review, evaluate, organize and assess intelligence and related data focused on activities, personalities and entities of Cl concern.
    • Produce and present related assessments, pertinent findings and responses to Request for Information (RFD.
    • Collaborate with Collection Managers for CI/HUMINT collection requirements.
    • Coordinate and collaborate with CI/HUMINT staffs at DIA, USFK, PACOM and other intelligence agencies.
    • Participate in national and international conferences, meetings, exercises and working groups.
    • Identify significant trends within assigned areas and propose ways to maximize the effectiveness of current and anticipated CI/HUMINT support activities.
    • Services may also require direct support to related Special Access Programs.
    • Consult with USFK J2X OSE leadership to address controversial or technical issues and CI/HUMINT operations support requirements.
    • Additional duties may be assigned, as necessary.



    Qualifications and Experience:


    Required - 

    • 1 year with BA or HS diploma + 4-5 years of relevant experience.
    • Experience conducting CI support to military operations.
    • Able to surge support during two exercises per year.
    • Clearance:  Must have active TS/SCI clearance. CI Polygraph eligible.

    Preferred -

    • Credentialed CI experience.
    • Korean language capability.
    • Familiar with the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) for Korea
    • Familiar with Korea Theater of Operations (KTO)
    • Bachelor or master's degrees with 4-6 years of experience, or, specialized training & 8+ years of experience, or, equivalent academic experience. Credentialed subject matter expert or recognized specialist in relevant field.


    • Must have active TS/SCI clearance. CI Polygraph eligible.
    • All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.

    Individual contractors serving in hostile areas are authorized by the Contracting Officer, subject to the Theater Commander's policy on the matter to carry Government-issued side arms/weapons and in accordance with USFK contingency conditions clause
